Checked 19.10 to see if it was fixed, but it still doesn't have color emoji support. Been using the flatpak version of hexchat that includes color emojis, but it doesn't handle plugins well due to flatpak. </p><p>Was going to open a bug, but the launchpad said try writing the dev mailing list for improvements.
