<div dir="ltr"><div>There's many proxy-related questions in Ask! Ubuntu. Most ask how to automatically or easily switch on/off the proxy settings. But nobody seems to be suggesting to move the proxy settings to the network interface setup itself.</div><div><br></div><div>In Android devices you set the proxy settings for each network. There's no headache there. Would it be so difficult to do the same in Linux/Ubuntu?</div><div><br></div><div>An interesting workaround is described here using squid to simplify the on/off switch. But it is not perfect. The ideal is the Android implementation, I guess.</div><div><br></div>
