Many people are affected by it.<br>https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-power-manager/+bug/923940<br><br>To try to resolve the issue, I added "echo 3 > /sys/class/backlight/acpi_video0/brightness" to my rc.local file only to find that ANOTHER bug is preventing this from working.<br>https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/sysvinit/+bug/882254<br><br>Very FRUSTRATING, especially for what is supposed to be an LTS release to continually run into bugs of this nature.<br><br>Can someone please address one or the other of these bugs or give me some guidance on how I can resolve the Max Brightness issue?<br> </div></body> </html>
