First of all, I want to introduce myself. I'm an 18 years old Italian guy. I'm in my 13th grade (over 13 that we have in italy) and I hope to go to the Politechnic of Milan due to arrive to an Information Technology degree. In January 2005 I downloaded the Mandriva 2005.0. I have used it (with two formats for day) for six months. In Jule of the same year, I started to use Debian. I passed to ubuntu (kubuntu) in Genuary 2007. I have proposed with this ( <a href="https://bugs.launchpad.net/soyuz/+bug/332958">https://bugs.launchpad.net/soyuz/+bug/332958</a> ) bug to consider to support more platforms in the PPAs. This was my proposal: --------- <a name="11f9fd5b2e67d6b0_affectsmetooform"></a>I think it is very important for making *ubuntu grow, support more platforms in PPAs. I think the main platforms that have to be supported are: * amd64 (already present) * i386 (already present) * lpia (already present) * arme * hppa * ia64 * powerpc * sparc * arm This would make a lot of software available for these platforms.
