Package `gist` is unusably broken on Ubuntu 18.04 and 20.04

The package `gist` on Ubuntu 18.04 and 20.04 is now permanently broken, as
the `gist-paste` command in it, the sole command provided by the package,
can no longer authenticate to GitHub.

Can someone please update it to the latest version in all supported Ubuntu
LTS versions that contain the package? I believe Ubuntu 21.04 has a working
version, but I'm not sure.
