State of libeigen3-dev in Ubuntu Focal

Hey,

The package in Focal for the linear algebra package Eigen is already at its
newest version, 3.3.7:

https://packages.ubuntu.com/focal/libeigen3-dev

My concern is that this version was released in 2018 and does not include a
fix for the deprecated-copy warning that's now on by default in GCC9.
Upstream has addressed it in their codebase:

But based on the discussion/tags, this patch will not ship until Eigen
3.4.0, so will likely never make it to Focal. Would it be reasonable to
patch this change onto the current 3.3.7 version to avoid dependent
packages turning off warnings or doing other workarounds?
