akonadi nor running after migration from kubuntu 18.04 to 19.10

I'm not sure what the default is on this, and I'm no expert, however on
my Ubuntu server system the MySQL socket is
'/var/run/mysqld/mysqld.sock' not
'/run/user/1000/akonadi/default/mysql.socket'. The UNIX socket on which
MySQL communicates is specified in /etc/mysql/my.cnf. Check the socket
location in any client configuration and make sure that it agrees with
the socket location created by the server.
