smartmontools package requirements

Installed smartmontools and it required a bunch of other unneeded packages.

Example: guile-2.0-libs libgc1c2 libgsasl7 libkyotocabinet16v5
libmailutils5 libntlm0 mailutils mailutils-common postfix

I don't want or need any mail utilities on every single machine that I need
smartmontools on. Ok, I might want 'sendemail' at the very least, but I
certainly do not need 'postfix'.

Can we discuss removing some of these extra packages and make smartmontools
a little more streamlined?
