Dear Ubuntu Cheese Maintainers:

Hello. I'm emailing on reference of
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/cheese/+bug/1562417 , to inquire
what version of libjpeg cheese is using (or both) from the following so
this may be upstreamed to one of the two different upstream sources:
https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/libjpeg8-empty
https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/libjpeg-turbo

This is requested given how the evidence suggests to me (I'm not a cheese
expert) that the root cause issue is libjpeg due to:
1) As per
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/cheese/+bug/1562417/comments/12
the error in libv4l2 appears collateral damage to the libjpeg error.
2) USB passthrough'ing the webcam from Ubuntu host to a Windows VM works
fine.

Apologies if this is perceived better asked in ubuntu-users, as this isn't
a technical support request (I'm not looking for help in fixing anything),
but this is an inquiry on how the maintainers set the package to work,
given the report is marked Triaged (user tested Xenial and problem still
reproducible).

Please feel free to post the answer in the bug report directly, and thanks
for your efforts.
