unison rev to version 2.48 ?

Hi —

I’m wondering whether it is possible / how I would go about getting unison version 2.48 into the ubuntu package repositories? (Never done package development on Ubuntu / Debian, though I have at work for RHEL).

Here is the current version package (2.40) http://packages.ubuntu.com/trusty/unison <http://packages.ubuntu.com/trusty/unison>

Ideally, I’d also like to get unison-gtk as well: http://packages.ubuntu.com/trusty/unison-gtk <http://packages.ubuntu.com/trusty/unison-gtk>

The latest version is available: http://www.seas.upenn.edu/~bcpierce/unison//download/releases/stable/ <http://www.seas.upenn.edu/~bcpierce/unison//download/releases/stable/>

I’d be happy to help contribute some time to make this happen, might need some hand holding on the process though. :)
