There are some rewind bugs causing a jump to the beginning which may or
may not have been fixed by newer releases.

I was going to upgrade from LTS but cancelled it when I saw systemd
added and realised it may become compulsory or a pain to avoid for
15.04.

Can the supported mythtv packages be updated?

I only use Linux for mythtv and where possible avoid it for our
products and systems mainly due to the rediculousness of the debian
decision process around systemd which made me realise that aside from
package signing and bugfixes in packages. Linux has added nothing but
insecurity and complexity to UNIX. Android has many more kernel
security features by default though it's userland sucks in many ways
and Microsoft actually have more kernel security features though their
userland sucks security wise and they can do little about it.

p.s. Can Ubuntu mobile keep the Linux userland but base itself on the
android kernel rather than Linux with it's added security protections
(not talking about permissions and dbus/id architecture)?
