/boot/vmlinuz-* readable only by root, preventing userspace tools like libguestfs from using host kernel.

permissions on /boot/vmlinuz are 0600, preventing userspace utilities
like virt-builder in libguestfs from using the host kernel. should it
be readable only by root, or can it be changed to 644? posting here
because im not sure this is a bug.
