Web page logging

Hello;
I need a tool that enable me to log the web page activities to know what is happening when clicking on certain field, so I can know the field name, which class and function is called and which script or page and if it will call the database and so on. This will help me to do troubleshooting or customization.This tracing can be done based on the session id.
I read that Zeitgiest can do this but I am sure if it is really doing what I need or not and if there is another tool which is specialized for this and can be used properly.
