Filezilla update

Hi,

I hope this is the right place (if not, where?) for this question:

I have installed Filezilla (on Linux Mint 17.1) version 3.7.3. A newer  
version is available: 3.9.0.6 but this does not appear on my package  
manager. Is there a reason for this? When will it come?
