Ubiquity Crashing with non-English Language Selections

Hello There,

We use the Ubiquity GTK frontend with my Ubuntu derivative Bodhi Linux.
With the version of Ubiquity that ships with 14.04, we are currently having
an issue where the installer randomly crashes when non-English languages
are selected at the first screen.

Does anyone have any idea how to:

1.) Correct this issue (ideal)

or

2.) Force the installer to always default to English?
