unable to install apache2 mod php5

is there anyone know how to solve this problem?

i am using ubuntu 13.10.

the error message is:

The following packages have unmet dependencies:
 libapache2-mod-php5 : Depends: apache2.2-common but it is not going to be
installed
E: Unable to correct problems, you have held broken packages.
