Natty Feature Freeze

Does the feature freeze include updating binary drivers?  I ask because 
I'm having crashing problems when working with 3D surfaces in 
Mathematica, and the Mathematica tech support people insist this is a 
problem with the graphics driver, in my case, nvidia.

The nvidia driver currently in Natty is 260.19.29 while the most current 
stable driver available from nvidia is 260.19.36, which explicitly 
mentions bug fixes for version 1.9+ X servers.

(I'm using 10.10 with nvidia 260.19.06, so my problem might very well be 
resolved in Natty, but it seems like a good idea to use the most current 
binary drivers whenever possible.)
