Hi,
I have tried to load Ubuntu from the memory stick I bought from you a couple of weeks ago. In the menus it keeps referring to putting a disc in the CD drive. The CD drive in this computer has not been working for a year so that is no good.
 
However I persevered and managed to load some of Ubuntu but then after ten minutes the following error came up

Ubuntu installer
An error occured
Cannot download the metalink and therefore the ISO
For more information please see thje log file:
c:\users\hannah\appdata\local\temp\wubi-9.10ubuntu1-rev160.log     "
 
I have searched for this file and it does not exist anywhere on the computer.
 
What can I do ?
 
I am a bit frustrated as I am very keen to get back using Ubuntu - I have used an old version in the past and it is fantastic.
