Hi!
I upgraded from 9.10 64-bit to Lucid (alpha) on my laptop and when the
upgrading began it notified that f-spot would be removed along with gvfs.
I completed the upgrading procedure and noticed that compiz wasn't
working correctly - the transparent background-effect in the terminal
window was causing the terminal window to be entirely yellow. Disabling
compiz solved that issue.
I then noticed I was unable to mount partitions from my desktop computer
through ssh as nautilus only had support for custom shares and it would
not accept sftp locations.
I figured out I had to manually install libparted0 which allowed me to
install gvfs, gvfs-backend and gvfs-bin.
After this step I was able to mount the said partitions and re-install
f-spot.
Cheers,
Matthias
