Using Ubuntu Desktop -> $ sudo apt-get install ubuntu-netbook-remix

It's only a couple of additional packages ontop of regular ubuntu. A
lot of people are using just the netbook launcher on their desktops
cause they like it that way.

loads of ways & tips how to set it up
