Bug with ubiquity 1.8.14 using hardy

Hello,

I have the following bug mentioned in
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ubiquity/+bug/182004.

I have applied the patch described in this forum (partman) but I have still
the bug.

It is said that with ubiquity 1.10.0, the bug is fixed.

I am using hardy and therefore the version I have is 1.8.14 and it seems
that I cannot upgrade to 1.10.0.

Could you please help me ?
