Yes, this helps a lot.
Thank you very much for your explanation and for your time.
Anyways i just like SLiM look and feel, ease of customization and the 
fact that is DE-indipendent, that is a very improtant thing in minimal 
desktop, say openbox. I just didn't know about those security bugs, i 
hope the new mantainer will fix them!
