Karmic might scare users about hard disk dying

Hi devs.
I'd like to point your attention to a bug which might be frequently
noticed after Karmic is released:
https://bugs.edge.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-disk-utility/+bug/438136
In short: the new devicekit disk utility (palimpsest) might report lots
of disks as failing, even the new ones.
Please take a look at it as soon as possible to avoid the bad PR such as
with the infamous bug 59695
