Main frozen for Alpha-1

Hi,

Could it be possible to also announce on this list the effective release 
of alpha/beta/release CDs for the ease of beta testers to start testing 
(and developers to resume uploads).
Or is there a list where that is done already (https://lists.ubuntu.com/ 
is somewhat unclear about list purposes)
