Ubuntu sourcecode

hi,

I am so interested in Ubuntu and i want to go and see whats under the hood.
So i just want to tweek the ubuntu source code..
Can you please help
I want to.....
1. obtain the ubuntu source code (not the binaries) ..
2. build it myself ..
3. make an iso image out of it ..
4. put it on a cd
5. boot my system with that cd and install it .

How can i do those.. please guide me..
