What maintainers?  It's just one of the many things rolled into the
"Foundations" category.  There hasn't been someone whose sole focus was
sound in about 2 years.

Still, there are likely a handful of people that each know a bit about
some part of the audio stack, and maybe put together there could be
enough coverage to be helpful.
