Not an official update but CMake 2.6.1 is available from my PPA:  

CMake 2.6.2 will be available in about half an hour. Usually, the  
latest CMake is always available from my PPA.

That being said, Konsole should work fine with CMake 2.4.8 and if it  
does not, you should report that to the Konsole maintainer (Robert  
Knight). CMake 2.6.x will not be required for KDE until KDE 4.3 (there  
was a thread on that a few months ago in the kde-buildsystem mailing
