Boot sequence profiling on first boot

I just tried the effect of profiling the boot sequence by adding
profile to the kernel line in grub, and the effects were amazing! From
1:21 (average of 3 boots) to 58 seconds (again average of 3). That is
a reduction of about 25%! And this was on a system that was just
installed a few days ago so there hadn't been any major changes in the
whole system. Is this a result that is normal and achievable on many
systems? And if so, would it be possible to enable the profiling
automatically on the first boot after installation to significantly
decrease boot times for all users? Thanks,
