Ubuntu beyond GTK apps?

That's why I use KDE. Without starting a flame war, can you tell me
what Gnome app is better than it's KDE equivalent? In Kubuntu I run
Firefox and OpenOffice with the gtkqt engine, so that GTK apps look
like qt.
