Hardware Database and Client - Dohickey

What tasks do I need to prepare to get the dohickey client in the
official repositories? and if that's too much what are restrictions of
getting it into multiverse at the very least?

Also I'd like to ask if any developers can lend a bit of peer review,
the project is still in development but a lack of developer interest
means bugs linger around.
