Disappointed with Ubuntu Server, could be used by such a wider audience

Ah, so you're talking about a completely different product (or version)
here. In this case, there's nothing to be disappointed with because
that's not what Ubuntu Server was created for.
On the other hand, your idea makes sense and should be discussed, sure.
