Ralink RT2860 wireless driver in Jaunty's 2.6.28 kernel?

I have heard that support for the Ralink 2860 driver (used in several
PCI cards & the Eee) is going to show up in the 2.6.28 kernel tree--Is
this a correct assumption? I am in Jaunty testing with a Encore PCI
wireless N card that uses the Ralink 2860 & am staying with the .27
kernel until I get more info.
I have used the PPA: deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/stgraber/ubuntu
intrepid main with jaunty & DKMS will build on the .27 kernel without
problems, but I try to build on the .28 kernel & get a "OK" but the
module will not work. Kernel header problem? I have some info saved & am
able to do testing (very motivated) in this area.
Bug report: https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/210725 for the Ralink 2860.
I have added to the report but am wondering if I need to create a new
bug report "if" the driver wiil be available soon..
Thanks!!!!
