Maybe to clarify: the plugin manager doesn't do that ... the
flashplugin-nonfree package depends on nspluginwrapper and creates the
suitable wrappers for you during install. So, just installing
flashplugin-nonfree should give you a working adobe flash on amd64 in
epiphany, firefox et al.
