Hello,

I hope someone here can help me:

On openSuse 10.2 one can get access to the x-server with vnc, which is
handled directly in the xorg.conf. Seems to be in the package
xorg-x11-Xvnc-7.1-33.3.
It can be added via sax2. Nice, cos no matter what desktop environment
you are using, or if just the login screen is shown, one can access
that machine.

I found no corresponding package in ubuntu, and when asking on the
ubuntu-lists and forums (german ones) I was told that nobody knew of
such a thing.

Is there a possibility to do so in ubuntu? Is it just perfectly
hidden? Or is this a feature that the ubuntu-xorg-package is lacking?

And, if it is not possible: What would be necessary to get it into Ubuntu?

Thanks very much in advance,
OJ
