SRUs: Please upload to the development release *first*

Hello fellow developers,

this is just a reminder about our SRU policy:

Even after more than two weeks of precise being open there is still a
number of SRUs which get uploaded to oneiric-proposed only without
being uploaded to precise first. Please make sure that you do this, to
ease the bookkeeping and policy bending that the SRU team has to do
for this.

We will not move anything to -updates any more before it gets fixed in
precise first; we do accept it into -proposed if it seems urgent,
though, so that testing can already proceed. But in order for you to
not having to touch a bug twice, please avoid this situation.

Copying packages from oneiric-proposed to precise was ok for the first
days, but it's not adequate any more. We want precise packages
actually build against the precise tool chain and libraries.

Thanks,

Martin Pitt
p.p. Ubuntu SRU team
