Oneiric Alpha 1 freeze: soft freeze in effect.

Dear developers,
   Its that time in the cycle...  time for an Alpha 1.  :)
  
  This is a soft freeze, but we'd appreciate it if you held off on
uploads unless its fixing one of the blocking bugs.
