As noted on https://wiki.ubuntu.com/EdgyReleaseSchedule, the feature
freeze for Edgy is this Thursday, 7th September. It will take effect at
the start of the Ubuntu development team meeting, which is at 23:00 UTC.

For those of you with assigned specifications for Edgy, please take some
time tomorrow to look over those that remain unimplemented and
undeferred on https://launchpad.net/distros/ubuntu/edgy/+specs, and
decide whether you will be able to finish them to a satisfactory level
by feature freeze, or whether all or part of some specifications need to
be deferred to Edgy+1. In some cases, changes may need to be backed out
if supporting code is not yet ready. Feel free to get in touch with me
to discuss the state of your features.

After feature freeze, we will begin an intensive period of bug-fixing
and polishing, targeted especially at new features, leading up to the
beta release in the week of 28th September.

Cheers,
