The migration of Ubuntu's bugs [1] from Bugzilla to Launchpad's bug
tracker, Malone, was successfully done today. All bugs are still
available for browsing in Bugzilla, but logins are disabled, making them
effectively read-only.
We invite you to use Malone as the new, official Ubuntu bugtracker. Here
are some links to help you get started:
- Searching existing bug reports:
https://launchpad.net/distros/ubuntu/+bugs
- Reporting new bugs:
https://launchpad.net/distros/ubuntu/+filebug
- Logging in to Launchpad, and creating a new Launchpad account
https://launchpad.net/distros/ubuntu/+bugs/+login
Any feedback is welcome: discuss Malone and Launchpad on the mailing
list launchpad-users at lists.canonical.com or on the IRC channel
#launchpad on irc.freenode.net.
Thanks to everyone who helped make this a reality -- in particular James
Henstridge, who did the actual migration, and Brad Bollenbach and Bjorn
Tillenius, who are the developers responsible for making Malone a great
bugtracker for open source.
