Forwarding to -desktop. The VLC argument (which could be applied to Totem and
probably more applications) is a really good point IMHO. If we remove
gnome-btdownload's menu entry, why shouldn't we remove Totem's one?

I think this is an interesting discussion, because I'm equally for and
against removing it. On the one hand, I've never actually used the
menu item, and I don't think most people will use it that way. It
opens torrent files if you double click them, and that's much easier
than opening the gui and selecting the file. Having fewer menu items
make the menus easier to navigate and is less confusing to the newbie.
However, the menu item itself also has another function that's not
immediately apparent. It shows the user that bit torrent is supported
out of the box. In my book, that counts for something. The same would
be the case if for instance vlc would be installed by default.. I
never open vlc before I open a media file. I open vlc by double
clicking the media file, but I still like to have it in the menus.

I am for a general makeup of the menus, cleaning up and reorganizing,
but I think that should be a discussion of its own (which it is). If
removing the menu item resulted in no extra work, then I could go
either way, but seeing as it does, I think the menu item should stay
and time be spent on more important issues.
