Transmission - better choice for BitTorrent client?

I'd like to forewarn you that Transmission has several bugs and at least
one intentional feature that has got it banned on several trackers. See
its forums for more information. Otherwise, it's a very nice program.

Another nice BT application is Freeloader, which is already in universe.
Unfortunately, the development has apparently stalled.
