Probleme mit LAN-Verbindungsaufbau nach Update am 1. August...

Hallo Liste,
ich habe ein Kubuntu 12.04 LTS, Kernel 3.2.0-27-generic.
Am 1.8. habe ich Updates eingespielt, und seither bekommt mein Laptop keine
Verbindung mehr zum LAN beim Booten. Dazu finde ich folgendes in kern.log:

Das Problem lässt sich durch ein "stop network-manager" gefolgt von einem
"start network-manager" von einer Konsole aus dann beheben. Dazu steht dann in
kern.log:

Ich vermute, dass sich etwas an den Treibern geändert hat, und es deswegen zu
Problemen kommt. Welche / wer weiß Rat?
