suphp will nicht (Fehler 500)

Versuchs mal mit "chmod g-w $ROOTDIR" wobei $ROOTDIR das Verzeichnis
ist, das suphp als / ansieht, das ist nicht notwendig das System /.
Darüber meckert er nämlich.
