[Teilerfolg] Auflösung und Darstellung auf Samsung Syncmaster Widescreen

Ich habe den Widescreen nun bei mir (debian-etch) und dem nvidia-Treiber 
NVIDIA-Linux-x86-1.0-8776-pkg1.run zu einem brilliantem Bild verholfen. 
Morgen versuche ich mit diesem Treiber das Gleiche auf der Ubuntu-Kiste. 
Ich halte Euch auf dem Laufenden.
