sieht für mich aus wolltest du die Datei auf sich selbst kopieren.

cp -av  ~/install_flash_player_7_linux/libflashplayer.so ./
                                                         ^^
Da ich nicht weis was du vorhast kann ich dir leider so jetzt auch
keinen Tip geben wie es richtig sein müsste.

Das mit dem upgrade tut mir echt leid. :(
Aber sowas war nach meinen Erfahrungen echt nicht vorherzusehen.
