Bevor du anfänst solltest du sicherstellen, dass ubuntu-desktop
installiert ist (ein Backup wäre natürlich auch nicht schlecht;).

Davon abgesehen lief der upgrade problemlos.

Man muss halt nur wissen, dass eth0 in dapper eth1 heisst.
...und ide-scsi nun ide-cd (für den Brenner).

Aber beides scheint eher upstream zu sein.

Falls du DSL benutzt trag am besten auch gleich
pppoe
ppp_deflate
ppp_mppe
in /etc/modules ein.

Ansonsten schnurrt der lüfter hier 1A mit dapper. ;)
Und es ist echt sehr gelungen. Besonders von Kubuntu war ich überrascht
um ehrlich zu sein.
Liegt aber wohl eher daran, dass man die hohe Qualität bei Ubuntu schon
gewöhnt ist.

Ach ja fällt mir grad noch ein...
Vor einiger Zeit gabs hier mal die Frage, ob das gnome-uhren-applet
konfigurierbar ist. In Dapper geht das jetzt.
Allerdings war dafür ein neues Profil notwendig. In dem von Breezy
migriertem war diese Option nicht verfügbar.

gconf-editor > Bearbeiten > suchen > clock
(/apps/panel/applets/clock_screen0/prefs)

in das Feld "custom_format" dann Variablen von z.B. "man date"
eintragen. Ich habe hier > %k:%M  %A  %d.%m.%y

Dann rechte Maus auf aufs Uhren-Applet > Einstellungen >
"Benutzerdefinertes Format"  Voilà!

Achja und TB 1.5 kann jetzt auch about:config
Bearbeiten > Einstellungen > Erweitert > Konfiguration bearbeiten
Das hat mir schon echt lange in TB gefehlt.


Also bitte alle testen. Jetzt können wir noch Korrekturen einpflegen
falls notwendig.
