Problem mit der Bildschirmauflösung

Hi,

danke für den Tipp.

Nach der ersten Installation war im xorg.conf-file nur dein Vorschlag
(1024x768) eingetragen. Das hat mich ja stutzig gemacht, da der xserver
nur mit 640x480 gestartet hat (und das Gnome-Einstellungs-Menü auch nix
anderes angezeigt hat).

Dann habe ich mit dpkg-reconfigure den xserver nochmals konfiguriert,
dadurch hatte ich dann alle 3 Werte in dem config-file drinnen.

Und ich kapiers noch immer nicht, warum es nicht funkt #:-|
(siehe auch mein 2. mail dazu an die Liste)
