Ubuntu Open Week!

The Ubuntu Open Week is here again!
It's a week when 35 seminar sessions are scheduled (7 each day). Note
that this might change if more contributors would like to tutor!

Seminars will include description and usage of many new features, among them:
- Private Directories (encryption) [ecryptfs-utils]
- Virtualisation
- usb-creator
- Cruft Removal 101 Workshop

Some of the old but famous and always required classes are:
- Packaging 101
- Reporting Bugs about Ubuntu

The live classroom events will last from Monday 3rd November until
Friday 7th 2008.
Classroom events take place at #ubuntu-classroom on IRC (Internet Relay Chat)!
Be there, you can learn a lot about contributing!

Η Ανοικτή Εβδομάδα Ubuntu είναι μια εβδομάδα που αποτελείται από 35
σεμινάρια (ο αριθμός μπορεί να αλλάξει) τα οποια επεξηγούν καινούρια
προγράμματα που έχουν συμπεριλάβει στην καινούρια έκδοση Ubuntu, όπως:
- Προσωπικοί Φάκελοι και κρυπτογράφηση ("Private Directories") [ecryptfs-utils]
- Εικονοποίηση ("Virtualisation")
- Δημιουργία USB από μια τρέχουσα/εγκατεστημένη έκδοση ("usb-creator")
- Αφαίρεση μη αναγκαίων πακέτων και αχρησιμοποίητων αρχείων ("Cruft
Removal 101 Workshop")

Ακόμη, αναφέρουν τρόπους με τους οποίους μπορείτε να συνεισφέρετε,
όπως για παράδειγμα:
- Πακετάρισμα για αρχάριους ("Packaging 101")
- Αναφορά προβλημάτων του Ubuntu ("Reporting bugs about Ubuntu")

Τα σεμινάρια θα διεξαχθούν από τις 3 Νοεμβρίου μέχρι τις 7. Για τα

Just a quick note to let you know that Ubuntu Open Week has been
announced for the week of Mon 3 Nov - Fri 7 Nov in #ubuntu-classroom on
Freenode.

Ubuntu Open Week is a week of IRC tuition and Q+A sessions all about
getting involved in the rock-and-roll world that is the Ubuntu
community. We organise this week for the beginning of a new release
cycle to help new contributors get involved. Thanks to Jorge for helping
to get the week together and for everyone who is helping to run
sessions. Its going to be a fun week!
