Hi Everyone,

Just throwing in my $0.02c.

This entire conversation, as is the case with this LP team, is a
distraction, and a waste of time. I don't believe any of this is making
Ubuntu better, making the community stronger, or delivering any practical
or productive output.

Our goal should, first and foremost, to focus on value that can be derived
in our community - I am yet to see any tangible (or intangible) value from
either these cyclical discussions or this LP team.

Unless I am missing some salient details, there is fairly broad consensus
that the LP team serves no particular value, yet is a confusing component
in the community. Given that the Ubuntu Community Council is empowered to
serve the needs of the community, in which part involves reducing
confusion, I would like to propose that they shut the LP team down, or have
it renamed so it doesn't include "Ubuntu" in the title.

These endless bickering threads do nothing but waste people's time. It is
time to make a final decision and move on.
