Hiya   'A. Mani',
I noticed that you were trying to find out whether or notSoftware Freedom Day has an online presence, or not.

The website www.softwarefreedomday.org is usually a place where people meet-up
in a kind of ubucon loco meeting and hackathon (phyisically).
However, with the prevalence of https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Social it is obvious that agoogle hang-out could be organised as a kind of 12 hour - look-in, which could be aired, using google hangouts and publicising the event through twitter, google communities, andpoint to the appropriate wiki.ubuntu.com page to let people know, what is acceptablebehaviour and what is not.
When the time comes you could let people know through the wiki when, and when until, the google-hangout could be aired giving times through the usual 'time-and-date' syncing,so that people can join in appropriately.

Thank-you for your interest in SFD and - I wish you happy hacking.
Here's some media if you cannot follow through, but still want to learn about Software Freedom:https://media.libreplanet.org/u/libreplanet/collections/
