I don't believe there are any such blocks in place.

In the past I have found things which can help is judicious use of
refresh button in the browser post-login. Also, do you have a logout
button once you login? Perhaps you could grab some screenshots to show
the login process so I can see?

I would recommend you jump on #canonical-sysadmin on freenode and ask
the vanguard to help debug the issue.
